Daily After School Programming
West Prep academy is proud to offer a free after school program for all students from 2:20 - 5:30 PM. This program runs daily and is funded by DYCD and offered through the organization West Hab. Our after school program hosts a range of activities including physical activity, science, technology, and arts programming.
Specialized High School Prep
West Prep teachers also teach a free SHSAT tutoring class for students that would like to take the specialized high school exam in 8th grade. This free course is two days a week starting in 7th grade and during the fall of 8th grade. Students who participate in this class will take the Specialized High School exam at West Prep during the school day.
Tutoring
Several of our classroom teachers in grades 6-8 also offer small group tutoring after school several days a week.
Sports
At West Prep students participate in a variety of athletic activities. Please visit the athletics page to learn more.

3.) If you do not have an account, you should create a NEW account within the DYCD system. If you already have an account, log into the account and follow the registration process. Follow each step to enroll your child and complete the emergency contact information as well as the photo consent forms.
