8th grade students visited Sakara LIC Facility. Students toured the facility, learned about healthy eating and nutrition. In addition, students had a family lunch with the Sakara Team.


Students received a goodie bag with Sakara Treats, in addition to making their own cookie dough.


What is Sakara?

Sakara is a meal delivery program is based on a whole-food, plant-rich diet that includes fresh, nutrient-dense, and delicious ingredients.

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we welcomed author, Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez, to West Prep today! All scholars all read his graphic novel, La Borinqueña in preparation for meeting Mr Miranda-Rodriguez.



Back to school before school even starts! Teachers arrived a week early to get ready for students. They have planned activities, clubs, lessons and creative ways to make students feel welcomed and cared for for the first day of school.
